return of the mountain man

He has returned safely after being one on one in nature, man vs. wild.  He had a good time but has some  NASTY blisters!  After several days of barely being able to walk and increased swelling of his ankles, I insisted that he go to the Dr. to get things checked out today.  So he did.  Sure enough there is an infection and  he was prescribed antibiotics and  vicadin for the pain!  The Dr. was a hiker himself and had pity on him.  Miles was a good boy at the Doctor's office, so I got him an ice cream cone.  Doesn't ice cream make everybody feel better?       Here are some pictures from his trip.
